These are both great. There is a strong sense of love in the first, as for the second, I am drawn to all shadow haiku.
Thanks, Jem. Does any sense of my "shadow" envy of the first couple come through at all in the second? (BTW, I wrote them to stand alone, and only later reazlied they can also be a pair.)
